Why is it the best? The Butter and the Corn!
All the butter used in our Caramel Corn comes from our very own breed of cows - "High Mountain Flat Back Cows." This breed of cows is unique, because Rube, the Olde Goat, has trained them to sleep on their backs. As a result, when the Olde Goat goes to collect the dairy, the cream has already collected at the top - ready to be made into butter. Over the years Rube noticed that a healthy cow is a happy cow. As they do their daily exercises on Rube's patented "Butter Churning Treadmill,” the cows now help Rube churn the cream into butter. Amazing!!! Unfortunately, the Olde Goat won’t let anyone photograph this spectacle so the patent stays secret.
The High Mountain Flat Back Cows are not the only remarkable aspect to our Caramel Corn. We have the tenderest popping corn that can be found. This is due to the work of an extraordinary farmer. He learned that to make tender corn, the ears had to sleep well. However, when the wind blows through the cornfields, they squeak. Since corn is all ears’, the noise disturbs their rest. Thus, this farmer goes out every night and oils the squeaky stalks of corn, so they do not disrupt the ear's slumber.
Other than this superlative butter and unprecedented popcorn, we use sugar, Love, Smiles and Kisses to make this World Famous Caramel Corn.
